Welcome to the Auroma Market newsletter.

The aim of this newsletter is to update you with the latest trends and availability of essential oils, fragrances and vegetable oils. This will assist your forecasting and ordering, and keep you informed with marketplace developments.

Essential Oil Status Report

Litsea Cubeba Oil, due to virtually no carryover stock from last year's crop and the shortfall this year, stock supply is limited.

Marjoram Oil, (Egyptian) due mainly to the failed crop this year, which is believed to be caused by the exceptional hot weather, stock has been limited.

Peppermint Oil Arvensis, the Indian material has been reported to have a low yield from this year's crop.

Rose Oil Bulgaria, the crop has been good this year (4,500 tons of Flowers), however, due to the lack of carryover from last year, stock supply is still minimal.

Spearmint Oil, supply may be effected by the severe flooding in Anhui province. However has not been effected as yet.

Freight - Hazardous Goods

There are continuing increases in the costs involved with freighting hazardous goods. We anticipate these will continue.
