Welcome to the Auroma Market News Report for March.

The aim of this newsletter is to update you with the latest trends and availability of essential oils and vegetable oils. This gives you an understanding of potential causes of price fluctuations and the ongoing availability of your favourite essential oils.

Essential Oil Status Report

Cedarwood Oil Texas, and Cedarwood Oil Virginian are both in short supply at the moment.

Rosewood Oil, this oil remains short in supply. Demand has increased over recent weeks from various markets.

Clove Stem Oil, once again available in limited supply. Demand for this oil at present appears steady.

Petitgrain Oil, this oil has good stocks of material available from source.

Tea Tree Oil, demand for this oil has increased over recent weeks.

Sandalwood Oil, we believe that the next Indian wood auction will be due shortly, however as there have been no auctions for nearly a year material remains very short and the price has risen again. Australian Oil appears more attractive than ever with its stable price and supply. There are further reports that many companies are removing the Indian material from their formulas.

Nutmeg Oil, demand for this oil remains at a steady level.

Rose Oil, due to the shortage of current material the price of this oil is increasing. Material is becoming extremely difficult to locate from various origins. We do not believe the situation will change for sometime.

Ginger Oil, this Chinese Oil continues on its rollercoaster ride.

Vegetable Oil Status Report

The price of vegetable oils in general remains quite firm, however there are a few oils of interest at present.

Almond Oil, there is continued high demand for this oil from Asia.

Olive Oil, the small stocks in Spain are creating shortages for the supply of the material. The situation appears only to worsen over the next few months until next year's crop.

Wheatgerm, there has been increased demand for this oil recently from various markets.
