Ingredient of The Month - Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

Traditionally, the flowers were used to adorn the beds of newly-weds, and in an infusion of fixed oils for hair and skin treatments. Ylang Ylang oil was developed for use in the perfume industry, finding its position along side some of the most exotic oils, Rose, Jasmine, Sandalwood, Geranium and Vetiver. Ylang Ylang is found in many famous perfumes. It also blends very well with Bergamot, Grapefruit, Lavender, Lemon, Neroli, Orange, Patchouli, Rose Geranium, Rosewood, Tangerine and Tuberose.
