Lavender oil is probably the best known of all the essential oils. It seems no medicine kit is complete without a bottle of Lavender. This is most likely due to the number of conditions that Lavender can assist, along with being an oil that is safe to use on children, adults and the elderly alike.
With the ideal similarities of climate, soil and altitude from the lavender producing areas of the French Alps, Tasmania Lavender has made its mark on the international trade as being a leader in the production of true French lavender which is absolutely pure and free of camphor.
Cuttings are carefully selected and are propagated by direct planting to produce oil production to around 4 years. Plants can be managed for another 10 - 15 years onwards and produce 5 tonnes of flowers per hectare.
Lavender is appreciated for its balancing & calming, and soothing and healing properties, advantageous for relieving stress & irritability, along with the added advantage as an excellent agent for dry, sensitive or irritated skin, leaving it feeling soft, fresh and clean. Being a gentle and balancing fragrance which has been used for perfumes, cosmetics, soaps and medicines. Along with Lavenders’ purifying, cleansing and detoxifying qualities.
Blends well with : Black Pepper, Cedarwood, Chamomile, Cinnamon, Clary Sage, Clove, Cypress, Eucalyptus, Geranium, Grapefruit, Juniper, Labdanum, Lemongrass, Marjoram, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Peppermint, Pine, Rose, Rosemary, Tea Tree, Thyme, Vetiver, Citrus and Floral oils.
